EFI

Gigabyte's EFI hasn't seen too many tweaks and improvements over the years and it still feels a little poorly-laid-out compared to Asus and MSI's offerings, which tend to be more adept at grouping similar sections together. However, everything you need is here and as usual, the fan control section is excellent with the option to select from multiple temperature inputs, setup alerts and also to stop fans when the input is lower than a specified temperature - all very useful.

Software

Gigabyte's software centres around EasyTune and System Information Viewer - it's overclocking, monitoring and fan control suites. You get most popular options you'd see in the EFI and EasyTune is simple but functional.
